The House investigative committee has made public a set of approximately 70 photographs secured from the holdings of deceased found guilty sexual predator Jeffrey Epstein.

This constitutes the latest in a series of disclosure from a tranche of more than 95,000 images the committee has secured from Epstein's property. It contains pictures of excerpts from the book Lolita inscribed across a female's body, and censored images of female international passports.

This release arrives hours before the 19th of December cut-off for the DOJ to disclose all records related to its investigation into Epstein.

"These latest images bring up additional questions about precisely what the DOJ has in its holdings," said the Democratic lead of the panel, Robert Garcia.

What's in the Images Released

Some of the images made public on Thursday depict Epstein in discussion with professor and activist Noam Chomsky on a private plane; Bill Gates standing beside a individual whose identity is obscured; Steve Bannon positioned at a desk facing Epstein, and previous Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a dinner gathering.

These are the latest affluent, influential men to be seen in Epstein's estate photos published by the House Oversight Committee - formerly published pictures also show US President Donald Trump and past president Bill Clinton, as well as movie director Woody Allen, former US Secretary of the Treasury Larry Summers, lawyer Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and others.

Appearing in the images is does not constitute indication of any wrongdoing, and several of the featured individuals have stated they were in no way participating in Epstein's criminal activity.

In a statement released with the photograph release, Democratic members on the US House Oversight Committee stated the Epstein estate did not offer background information or timeframes for the images.

"Photographs were selected to offer the public with openness into a illustrative selection of the photos acquired from the holdings, and to give perspectives into Epstein's associates and his profoundly alarming behavior," the release states.

The publication also contains multiple photos of excerpts from the Vladimir Nabokov novel Lolita written in black ink across different parts of a woman's body, like her upper body, foot, hipbone, and back. Lolita recounts the tale of a minor who was exploited by a adult literature professor.

One excerpt from the book written across a female's upper body says, "Lolita: the tip of the tongue making a journey of three steps down the roof of the mouth to alight, at three, on the teeth".

The release also contains a number of photographs of women's passports and official papers from countries globally, including Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

Most of the data on the documents, such as identities and DOBs, is censored but the panel indicated in a announcement that the passports pertain to "individuals whom Jeffrey Epstein and his co-conspirators were involved with".

An additional photo depicts Epstein positioned at a desk intimately surrounded by three female figures whose faces have been redacted - one has her hand on Epstein's chest under his garment, and another is leaning to view a close-by laptop. Epstein can be seen to be helping the third individual fasten a piece of jewelry.

Another image released is a capture of digital messages from an unidentified sender who states they have been provided "some girls" and are requesting "$1000 for each individual".

Photo Disclosure Arrives Ahead of DOJ Due Date

The committee has many thousands of photographs in its holdings from the Epstein estate, which are "both explicit and everyday," its announcement on this week noted.

The Congressional committee first issued a subpoena to the holdings of Epstein, who was found dead in a New York correctional facility in 2019 while awaiting trial on accusations of human trafficking, in August.

The images and documents the Epstein estate provided to the body are separate from what is commonly termed "the Epstein files". Those are records within the justice department's control connected to its own inquiry into Epstein.

Under the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which the President made law last month, the DOJ has a deadline of 19 December to release its documents. The full nature of the contents included in the DOJ's records is unknown, and it's likely that a large amount of the information will be heavily obscured, akin to Congressional materials
