Dacoda Nichole Jones, who also did not mention the athlete directly, posted a series of photos on Instagram that appeared to show signs of physical abuse. Jones did say the individual in question was the father of her children, and reports indicate she has two children with Rice, whom the Chiefs drafted in the 2023 draft.

Official Complaints Reportedly Unavailable

No official complaints were on file in the Kansas City suburb where the alleged abuse is said to have taken place.

Player's Recent Legal Issues

The receiver missed the initial part of this NFL campaign due to an NFL suspension for his involvement in causing a multi-vehicle accident on a Texas roadway that left several individuals hurt. Rice was given 30 days in jail and probationary supervision after pleading guilty to felony charges.

Statistically, Rice finished the season with 53 catches for 571 yards and five touchdowns as the Kansas City finished 6-11 and missed the playoffs for the first occasion in a ten-year span.
